- Thaw and bake tart shells according to package directions. Cool.
- Cook Dr. Oetker Key Lime Pie Filling according to package directions using 2 whole eggs.
- Remove from heat, add lemon rind and juice. Cool minutes.
- Spoon into tart shells. Refrigerate until set.
- At serving time, garnish with whipped topping and lemon or lime slices.
Makes 18 tarts.
Variation: Prepared filling may also be poured into a baked 9" (23 cm) pie shell.
