Black Forest Trifle

 
Ingredients 
4 cups chocolate cake cubes 1 litre
1 can (19 oz) Cherry pie filling 1 can (570 mL)
1 pkg (3.1 oz) Dr. Oetker Dark Chocolate Truffle Mousse Mix 1 pkg (89 g)
2 tbsp Cherry liqueur 30 mL
1 cup Whipping cream 250 mL
1/4 cup Shaved chocolate 50 mL
1 pkg (0.35 oz) Dr. Oetker Whip it, Whipping Cream Stabilizer 1 pkg (10 g)
1 pkg (0.32 oz) Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar 1 pkg (9 g)

  1. Cut up one single layer chocolate cake into small cubes.
  2. Prepare whipping cream with Whip It and Vanilla Sugar.
  3. In trifle dish or glass bowl, layer 2 cups chocolate cake cubes, drizzle with cherry liqueur, half of prepared mousse and half the can of cherry pie filling.
  4. Repeat layers once more.
  5. Top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
  6. Chill overnight.
