Chocolate Chip Cookies

 
Ingredients 
1 cup Softened butter 250 mL
1 pkg (0.32 oz) Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar 1 pkg (9 g)
1 cup Packed brown sugar 250 mL
1/2 cup Sugar 125 mL
2 Eggs 2
2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour 550 mL
1/2 tsp Salt 2 mL
1 tsp Baking soda 5 mL
1 pkg (10 oz) Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 pkg (300g)

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Beat butter, vanilla sugar, brown sugar and eggs with electric mixer on high until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda by hand. Blend well.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet 2" (5 cm) apart.
  6. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly browned.
  7. Transfer to cooling rack.  Cool.

Makes 5 dozen cookies.

Tip:  For best results, bake 1 cookie sheet at a time on middle oven rack.
